Each bird card records the common name, scientific name, and family of a bird along with a list of sightings. Sightings are recorded by date, location, and an optional comment. Birds are automatically indexed by common name, scientific name, and year of sighting on the various list cards. A star after a bird name in a year list indicates the first sighting of that species. A query list allows you to produce a summary for any date or location. In any alphabetical list, type the first few letters of a bird name to scroll to that item. Click on any of the buttons on the left for more information on its function. Enjoy!

The "New Card" and "Print Card" menu items have been patched to do the "right thing."
Use the standard "Find..." menu item to search the stack for a specific word.
There are cards for the years 1970 to 2001 in this stack. The previous and next arrows with skip over empty year cards so you won't see all of them. If you add a sighting from 1975 and update the stack, the 1975 year list will appear from that point on.
